Yesterday as we were traveling home from Memphis we had a flat tire. We had prayed before we left Memphis that the would protect us and give us His traveling mercies. It would have been easy to complain about changing a tire on the side of the Interstate, but all I could say is "Thank you Lord." I just had a feeling that through the inconvienience of a flat tire God was saving us from something. Maybe it was an accident, maybe it was a ticket, perhaps it was just a lesson in dependence that he wanted to teach. Reguardless, I say thank you Lord for that flat.
This morning when we woke up and was on our way to the church would you believe that another tire on the same vehicle was flat. What if they would have both gone out on the interstate? That would not have been good. So we had to replace two tires today, but my family is safe and God is good.

now that you're back, i wonder how many comments you'll get?? haha!
God is good, isn't he?!
And I bet with all of your NASCAR expertise each tire was only about a 25 second pit stop for you!
