In the movie Evan Almighty the main character who is a politician makes a campaign promise to Change the World. How many times have we heard that? But by the end of the movie it is revealed that we change the world by one Act of Random Kindness at a time. Tonight I was at my father in laws church in Cordova, Tennessee and they are in the middle of a Random Acts of Kindness campaign. I was so encouraged to hear the testimonies of how ordinary people are changing their world with one act of random kindess at a time. It doesn't have to be monumental, and it does not have to cost a lot of money, but one act of kindness can be encouraging and life changing for the recipient. So go ahead and try it! Intentionally commit some act of kindness for a person who does not expect it today!
